In the beginning was the Word.
And then there was News. Newspapers are amongst
the oldest of the services, yet they must come
up with a new act every morning. Today if The
Times of India stands tall among its world peers,
it is because it has built on its traditions without
being enslaved by its past. A newspaper house
is like a product: if it’s not fresh, it’s
dead.
Changing
times are challenging times, and a group’s
success hangs on the speed and perceptiveness
with which it responds to them. Keeping up with
the speed today One Hundred and Sixty-Eight years
young, The Times Group is the publisher of reputed
brands like The Times of India, The Economic Times,
Navbharat Times, Sandhya Times and magazines like
Femina and Filmfare. The group owns formidable
brands like Times Music, Radio Mirchi, Indiatimes,

has become a part of every individual’s
life.

In
response to the tremendous growth of the students
from Western & Southern India, Times Centre
For Media Studies – Mumbai was launched
in the year 2007.
Mumbai
being the main hub of the media industry, let
it be print, television, radio, outdoor or even
internet, Mumbai is the Capital of the Media World.
For a city like Mumbai which was well-connected
with global, national, regional & local media
houses felt the shortage of trained professionals,
who were familiar with the working of the media
house & could feel the work pressure right
from the first day at desk. This was the main
reason to launch TCMS in Mumbai.

Times
Centre For Media Studies – Mumbai shall cater

and shall run Premier Schools like:
